Why the initiative of Goda Parikrama in Nashik? (Reason 01)

The coming of dams, bridges, piped-water system, and many such developments along the riverscape, have grossly transformed our interaction with the rivers. Godavari, meandering through the city of Nashik is the classic example of such transformation. Like, several other rivers of India, Godavari is becoming the backyard of Nashik which is despised, disowned, ignored and forgotten by people. Thus, the Goda Parikrama is an initiative attempting to reconnect people with Godavari. Join us for Goda Parikrama every 2nd Sunday of the Month at 7:00 am near Dutondya Maruti, Godavari Ghat, Nashik.
